These are screensavers made from digital photographs taken at various historical sites in England and Wales, usually either castles, fortified manors, abbeys or priories. Each screensaver will have detailed information about the history attached to the site. I'm getting real anorakky about these ;-)

Moreton Corbet Castle was a Norman stone keep and bailey fortress but the site was modified in the 16th century to include a great Elizabethan mansion house, now a romantic ruin. Definitely one of the most moving places I've been to lately and this slideshow captures that feeling. |
